I Think My Blog Is Haunted.

I've redecorated. How do you like it?

In my opinion, as well as that of other more famous internet bloggers, the Halloween season has officially started. Perhaps the most fun and creative time of the year, Halloween represents a period where the macabre and grotesque aren't just accepted -- they're to be expected. It gives the freaks, oddballs and weirdos out there a chance to shine in the spotlight. Until October 31, Jared Unzipped will take on a more phantasmagorical theme. Sure, I'll still cover routine political articles and vent occasionally, but expect everything else to be more ghostly.

Woooooooo... so spooky.

As if the stories I publish weekly on Saturdays weren't horrific enough! Last week I wrote about a batch of monster nacho cheese. What's next... killer asparagus? Say, that's not a bad idea.

For the next two months, I'm going to publish a wide range of articles relating to everything horror and Halloween related: creepy serial killers from the past, movie reviews, gross toys, famous movie monsters, things that scared me as a kid, etc. Expect the unexpected!

And now, to get you in the mood, enjoy one of my favorite eerie songs! It's Dead Man's Party by Oingo Boingo!
