Nearly 800 miles later and I'm finally home. We left at approximately 6 AM this morning from St. Louis and traveled over twelve hours back home. In one day, I saw seven states -- Missouri, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, West Virginia, Virginia and North Carolina. That's a lot to digest, but I'm glad our journey was safe and without incident. I'll have a more complete report on the details of the vacation on Monday, but for now...
I'm going to sit down, enjoy a glass of scotch and watch some television. My feet are killing me and I'm so terribly tired.
